Metro 5 Gallery is pleased to invite you to Art Brisbane 08, where we will be exhibiting Jasper Knight's new series of paintings based on a recent trip to Bangkok.

Jasper Knight is a 29 year old Sydney-based artist. In 2005, 2006 and 2007 Jasper was a finalist in the Archibald Prize.

His work was also exhibited in the Wynne Prize in 2005 and 2006. He was awarded an Australia Council New Work Grant, the Freedman Foundation Scholarship and the Rocks Art Prize in 2006. He has also been a finalist in the Blake Prize, the ABN-Amro Prize, the Mossman Art Prize, The Helen Lempiere Prize and the Brett Whiteley Prize.
