Victor
Rubin studied art under individuals such as John Olsen and William Rose.
Beginning with his first exhibition in 1971, Rubin has held 36 solo
exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide during this
period.
He is represented
in major public collections such as the National Gallery of Australia
in Canberra, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria
in Melbourne, the Queensland Art Gallery plus numerous regional galleries
throughout Australia.
This exhibition
represents Victor Rubin at his most powerful with the enphasis on the
joyous explosion of colour, colour and colour.
