![]() Twice A Day, Every Day For The Rest Of Your Life, 2005 oil on canvas 61.0 x 152.0 cm | "The
themes of life, mortality, work, routine, and the effect of time are explored
in my Diptych and Text Paintings.
|
I began using text in my art in a series of Text Paintings completed in 2003. Text was used to give directions to a depicted location, from another place, on the other side of the world.

|
| In an ongoing series of paintings, the use of text has been adapted to 'one liners' painted over abstract backgrounds. They're intended to be fun and counteract the more serious nature of my Diptych Paintings". Mark Threadgold, Melbourne, 2007
